Recommendation
I would like to express my heartfelt congratulations on the completion of this video series on Morita Therapy, made possible through the dedicated efforts of everyone involved. I viewed it immediately, and it is exceptionally well done.
I was deeply impressed by Dr. Chihiro Fujita, who serves as the commentator, as well as by the sincere, unpretentious performances of the individuals who appear as patient representatives.
The natural scenery that appears throughout—especially the pleasant flow of the river—symbolizes the very essence of Morita Therapy. Unlike Western psychotherapies, which are conducted entirely indoors, Morita Therapy, born uniquely in Japan, places great importance on one’s relationship with nature.
Although I am not a follower of the Morita school, I firmly believe that Morita Therapy has much to teach us. This video will be extremely helpful to anyone suffering from neurotic anxieties, regardless of whether they choose to undergo Morita Therapy. Naturally, it will also serve as valuable reference material for anyone studying psychiatry more broadly. It surpasses countless ordinary reference books.

Overview

The definitive guide to understanding Morita Therapy.
Morita therapy represents traditional Japanese psychotherapy for anxiety disorder, and it does not apply any kind of medication--instead it puts patients in homelike therapeutic atmosphere and gives guidance to patients as to their daily lives.
Unlike Western therapies, Morita therapy does not try to extract symptom from the patient but encourage patient to live with it.
Patients going through Morita therapy will be aware that the symptom is not really a problem they need to eliminate.
The film provides the interviews of eight people who overcame anxiety disorder, a clear exposition of the thought and method of Morita Therapy by Chihiro Fujita (psychiatrist) and a documentary about a young man who is suffering from social phobia.
